Residents draw to the attention of cars regularly exceeding the speed limit along the Lower and Upper Esplanade past the Darling Point Special School and surrounding parks. This area is attended regularly by families with children throughout the week. In addition to this we have the Darling Point Special School which is attended by children with special needs. After dark both these stretches of road are regularly used as a race track which is putting people's lives at risk while people use the Esplanade walkways. It is also creating unnecessary noise issues for the residents as cars speed through the corners on the Upper Esplanade.
The community is requesting street calming speed humps along both the Upper and Lower Esplanade.
