Residents draw Council's attention to an Iron Bark Tree approximately 40 metres in height between 12 and 14 Pringle Place, Forest Lake. The tree is damaging a drive way and on a number of occasions branches from the tree have damaged property and narrowly missed a 17 year boy, the branch being between 5 and 10 centimetres in diameter. Brisbane City Council have trimmed the tree so much that there is basically no follage left. If the tree falls and people are in the near by houses their safety cannot be assured.
Your petitioners therefore request the tree be removed to protect rate payers safety and also property damage.
Thank you for your petition requesting that Council remove a dangerous tree between 12 and 14 Pringle Place, Forest Lake.
Council has completed an onsite investigation and considered your request.
Council does not support the removal of the tree between 12 and 14 Pringle Place, Forest Lake, as it does not meet Council's tree removal criteria. The tree will continue to be monitored and work will be programmed when required.
