The four major concerns are: 1. A major traffic generator in a minor residential, no-through-road street, that already contains a state school and a shopping precinct. Negative flow-on effects with increased congestion on the Rouen Road roundabout 2. Increased road safety risk for local school children 3. Increased risk of flooding due to potential excavation and filling within an overland flow area 4. Visual bulk and scale of the development in a Character Residential zone and loss of large established trees.
My petition requests that the material change request for 225 Boundary Road, Bardon, not be allowed to go through.
Council has completed an investigation and considered your request. It was decided that the petitioners be advised of the following information.
