Mackenzie is home to a large population of feral peacocks which is increasing exponentially due to residents feeding them constantly. They cause distress to many residents due to their extremely loud noises at all hours of the day. They also cause horrible mess with their droppings over the properties.
Your petitioners therefore request that Council removes all peacocks from Mackenzie and either culls or relocates them to a suitable wildlife refuge. They are a feral pest species and have no place in suburbia. Furthermore, residents need to be officially directed to not feed native or feral animals in the area.
